The room is designed for the kind of party where you can still hear the person across the table.
Inside, a glass sliding door flanked by sidelights frames a twenty-three-foot view of the river. A large picture window and two glass doors open onto an expansive deck above the meadow and creek. Eighty guests sit comfortably; a hundred fit.
Outside, the grounds are held by flowing water on one side and a gentle creek on the other. A 10 × 16 covered porch handles cocktail hour, quiet conversations, and anyone who wants the fresh air.
